Layer 7 was born from the core of a highly reputable digital agency nestled in the greater Montreal region. With an insider’s perspective, we deeply grasped the widespread issues afflicting the hosting industry — ranging from inadequate customer service, inexperienced engineers, poor server performances, unscheduled maintenance windows and unreliability.
These challenges weren’t just passing annoyances; they represented enduring barriers that impeded our work at every turn. Frustrated by these recurring issues and determined to find a solution, we took matters into our own hands and founded Layer 7. Our inspiration stemmed directly from our personal trials, and our mission was unmistakable: to establish a hosting company that mirrored the one we yearned for during our own challenges.
